How do I get started with Runup?
  1. 1. Open the app — Visit the app in Safari or Chrome on your phone. No App Store involved.
  2. 2. Add it to your home screen — Install it like a native app with one tap (see below for platform steps).
  3. 3. Add your aircraft — Enter a tail number and an optional photo. A Cessna 172S demo checklist is pre-loaded so you can see how it works straight away.
  4. 4. Run your first checklist — Tap through all ten phases, from Pre-flight to Shutdown. Your progress is saved automatically.

Is Runup free?

The Free tier includes one aircraft plus a pre-loaded Cessna 172S demo checklist, with full offline access and cloud sync — no credit card required. Pro is €10/month and unlocks unlimited aircraft and CSV import.

Does Runup work without internet or cell service?

Yes. Runup is offline-first: your checklists are stored on-device and always available, even at remote strips with no signal. Changes sync automatically when you're back online.

What flight phases does Runup cover?

All ten standard phases: Pre-flight, Engine Start, Taxi, Before Takeoff, Takeoff, Climb, Cruise, Descent, Landing, and Shutdown.

Which aircraft does Runup support?

Any aircraft you add by tail number. The Free tier supports one aircraft (plus the C172S demo). Pro unlocks unlimited aircraft.

What devices does Runup run on?

Runup is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so it runs on any modern mobile browser — iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet. Cloud sync keeps your checklists identical across all your devices, so you can switch from phone to tablet mid-trip without missing a step.

Is Runup a certified replacement for my POH or AFM?

No. Runup is a supplementary tool. You, as pilot-in-command, are always responsible for verifying checklist items against the official POH/AFM for your aircraft.
